Who is GRIN for?

GRIN is for ecommerce brands that run creator, gifting and affiliate programs and want the work tracked to sales. Its AI agent, Gia, prepares outreach and other tasks, and a person approves them before they go out. Paid plans include monthly credits that meter Gia’s work.

For a restaurant, the gap is the visit. GRIN’s pages describe creators who promote products and drive orders online, not creators who come in for a meal at one of a restaurant’s locations. Skip it if you need creators found near your locations and booked into a visit.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Every plan has a public price, from a free plan to $1,000 a month
  • Month-to-month billing with no annual contract, no seat charge and no required sales call
  • A SOC 2 Type II report on request, a public status page and written support terms
  • A bi-directional API and an MCP server, plus Shopify, Klaviyo and Slack connections

Cons

  • Extra AI credits are sold on paid plans, but no price is shown
  • Sales tracking outside Shopify needs developer work with its SDK and order webhooks
  • The AI agent's work is metered in credits, so a busy month can use up the plan's allowance
  • Its pages name ecommerce and food and beverage brands, not restaurants or hosted creator visits
  • On Reddit, small brands call it too expensive, and users reported a multi-day outage in August 2025

What do Reddit users say about GRIN?

Reddit threads from brand-side marketers treat GRIN as a well-known, capable tool that is priced and contracted for bigger companies. Small and gifting-first brands call it too expensive and too heavy, with long commitments. A December 2025 commenter says GRIN cut staff and no longer has technical support. Others report a multi-day outage in August 2025 and clunky campaign management. Positive notes cover the interface and creator discovery. Several replies are posted by competing vendors.

They fired all but 5 employees, so if you have an issue or a tech glitch - GRIN has no technical support. We've been trying to figure out CS solutions for months now.

I use GRIN in my 9-5 but it’s SO expensive and not a good option for small businesses.

Grin has been down for a couple of days. I need to find influencers.

u/FalconBeneficial4464 in r/influencermarketing, , may predate the current version

Grin has clean interface and solid discovery. But campaign management felt clunky for us though and we kept hitting workflow limitations. Support is not the fastest but helpful

u/Signal_Way_2559 in r/MarketingHelp,

I’ve used them all, even grin for 3 years.. do not recommend.
