Evaluate an AI service
Paste a vendor’s link. Add your use case or sales-call notes if you have them. You get proven pros, named risks and the all-in cost.
Evaluating. This takes about a minute and a half, sometimes up to three.
- Reading the vendor’s pages
- Checking the open web for proof and complaints
- Scoring it against your use case
How does the check work?
It reads the vendor’s own pages first. Then it searches the open web for reviews, complaints, pricing reports and contract terms.
A pro counts only when a page shows it. Each pro links that page. A vendor claim with no proof goes under the risks as an unproven claim.
Every risk is named. That covers hidden fees, add-ons, annual lock-in, staff time, data export and privacy.
The fit score uses the same six criteria and weights as our reviews. It is scored against your notes, not a generic buyer.
Why is the cost all-in?
A software fee is only part of the bill. Someone has to run the tool. Agencies, creators and usage often cost extra.
The chart adds the vendor fee, what you pay on top and your staff time. Anything we estimate is hatched and labelled. Its assumptions are listed under the chart.
If you have an in-house team or agency, most standard software will do. That team can customise the work. If you don’t, a done-for-you service is usually the cheaper whole.
Which done-for-you services do we recommend?
These services do the work with their own team. You don’t watch a dashboard. The report names one when your category matches.
- Influencer marketing and creator video: CreatoRain
- SMS and text marketing: Sendsational
- Restaurant POS and online ordering: Chowbus
- AI phone answering: Jenna
